Zamia

Zamia is an Australian mineral exploration company, targeting the Clermont district of central Queensland.

With a long history of discovery of precious and base metals, the area is emerging as a significant mineral district. Zamia has secured a large tenement position within the district and has discovered Anthony, a large porphyry-style molybdenum deposit. Additional targets for molybdenum, copper and gold have been identified.

In April this year Zamia announced an initial Inferred Resource for Anthony of over 80million tonnes.
Zamia is currently extending the successful drilling in order to expand the resource and accelerate evaluation of the project.  A comprehensive scoping study will follow, with a view to initiating a definitive feasibility study.
